The best thing about the 48-volt solenoid for select models is the ability to use it on multiple cars. This is actually true for any solenoid. All you need to be sure of is the amperage and voltage. Most stock or OEM-level solenoids are rated around 150 amps. Heavy-duty solenoids are a bit higher and offer at least 200 amps of continuous power. What you'll notice about most solenoids on this market is that they have four terminals. They'll always have two more prominent posts for battery-sized wires and two smaller terminals for the trigger wires. If your solenoid has this general makeup, you can likely use this product. Just make sure its minimum voltage is 48 as well.

This golf cart solenoid will work for Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha models as long as they're 48-volt units. Just because your golf cart isn't listed here doesn't mean it won't work. If it has four terminals and 48 volts, you're good to go.
